Green Beans Recipes To Enjoy

Green Beans with bacon is one of our all time favorite side dishes!

Fresh green beans are sauteed with bacon and garlic until tender crisp. A squeeze of fresh lemon is added just before serving making these the perfect easy side!

Green Beans with Bacon
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 to 2 Pounds Green Beans washed ends trimmed
  • 6 slices of raw bacon chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • lemon wedge optional
Instructions
  1. Place chopped bacon into a frying pan and cook until crispy
  2. Remove bacon and set aside on a plate lined with paper towel
  3. Discard all but 1 tablespoon (approx.. this doesn’t have to be exact) of bacon drippings
  4. Turn heat to medium. Add Green Beans to the pan and cook until they are lightly browned, stirring occasionally (about 8 minutes).
  5. Add garlic, bacon and squeeze the lemon wedge over the beans. Toss and cook for 1 minute more.

These Garlic Parmesan Green Beans are an easy vegetarian side that require just 6 ingredients and 15 minutes!

Garlic Parmesan Green Beans
Ingredients
  • 1 lb fresh green beans stems removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add garlic and cook 1 minute, stirring frequently..
  3. Add the green beans, sea salt, and black pepper, and toss to coat green beans evenly. Continue to saute for approx. 5-6 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle grated parmesan. Toss once again until parmesan is melted.

French’s FAMOUS GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE – How to make GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE Recipe

French’s GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
Ingredients
  • 2 cans 14 oz. each cut green bean, drained OR 2 (9 oz.) bags of frozen green beans, thawed
  • 1 10 oz. can Campbell’s cream of Mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh black pepper
  • 1-1/3 cups French’s Fried Onions
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Lightly oil 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Set aside.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl add mushroom soup, black pepper and milk. Whisk until well blended.
  4. Add drained green beans and 2/3 cup of French’s fried onions to mushroom mixture. Fold with spatula until beans are well coated.
  5. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  6. Add additional 3/4 cup French’s onions to top.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Cover casserole with foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
